Well, this was my first week back to work since Gabe was born and what a week it was. I was working between 9.5 and 11 hours a day, and poor Jess was stuck at home with Gabe. Jess is not supposed to lift much, so she is not able to get out of the house with Gabe. She is getting a little stir crazy, so today we are going out. Nothing special, but for Jess who hasn't left the house since Sunday and Gabe who hasn't left in almost 2 weeks, it's a big deal. Maybe I can take them to LL Bean and get Gabe his first fly rod, although I think Jess is onto me.
Thankfully, Gabe slept very well this week. He got gassy a few times this week, which meant he was unusually fussy, but it wasn't at night. Jess is starting to get him on a schedule during the day, which really helps.

I remember how just the 5 minute adventure to the post office was exciting. Its amazing how just getting out of the house can make a lot less stir crazy. =)
So glad that things are going well. That schedule was my sanity. It helped take the question out of: "Why are they crying this time?" Certainly allows you to rule things out.
We've been praying for little Gabe to sleep (and thus you guys). Miss ya!
